Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in school settings or with children and adolescents
- Strong assessment skills, including administration of cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral evaluations
- Knowledge of RTI, IEP development, and special education compliance
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Compassion and commitment to advocating for diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret data to support student learning and mental health needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families to develop tailored intervention plans
- Provide consultation to teachers and staff on behavioral and academic strategies
- Offer counseling services to students individually or in groups as indicated
- Contribute to crisis intervention and support school-wide programs promoting positive behavior and resilience
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements
