Job Description

Youll play a key role assisting faculty and families by providing assessments, consultation, and vital interventions that impact student success and well-being.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working in school settings or with children and adolescents
  • Strong assessment skills, including administration of cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral evaluations
  • Knowledge of RTI, IEP development, and special education compliance
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Compassion and commitment to advocating for diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret data to support student learning and mental health needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families to develop tailored intervention plans
  • Provide consultation to teachers and staff on behavioral and academic strategies
  • Offer counseling services to students individually or in groups as indicated
  • Contribute to crisis intervention and support school-wide programs promoting positive behavior and resilience
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements
