Job Description
Bring your expertise in school psychology to a collaborative educational setting, supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This full-time, contract opportunity offers a dynamic schedule averaging 33.75 hours per week and will have you working across multiple schools, where every day brings new experiences and the chance to make a difference.
As a valued professional, your primary focus will be conducting student evaluations, participating in IEP meetings, and helping coordinate intervention plans. While your main responsibilities center on assessments and planning, candidates with the ability to provide counseling services are especially encouraged to apply. Your work will have a substantial impact on students well-being and their success in the learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with administering assessments and psychological evaluations
- Familiarity with the IEP process and development of intervention plans
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with students, educators, and families
- Flexibility to travel between several school sites as needed
- Experience working across Pre-K through 12th grade is advantageous
- Counseling skills are a plus, though not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual student evaluations to inform educational planning
- Attend and participate in IEP and intervention meetings as a psychologist
- Provide expert input on intervention strategies and accommodations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address diverse student needs
