Job Description

Step into a meaningful role supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist in a contract position situated near Colorado Springs, CO. Youll collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other specialists to foster positive learning environments and provide critical psychological services throughout the academic year.

Qualifications:

  • Possess or be eligible for a Colorado Department of Education Special Services Providers License with a School Psychologist K-12 endorsement
  • Completion of an approved specialist-level program (minimum of 60 graduate-level semester hours) or an approved doctoral program for school psychology from a regionally accredited institution
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Satisfactory criminal background check and district fingerprinting required

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to determine students learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Interpret assessment data and offer well-founded recommendations for targeted interventions
  • Maintain detailed case records and prepare thorough evaluation reports for IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, students, and parents to suggest adaptations in classrooms or curriculum
  • Participate in pre-referral and post-placement meetings focused on intervention strategies
  • Attend staff, professional development, and inter-agency meetings to ensure the best outcomes for students

This contract begins on November 17, 2025, and concludes on May 22, 2026. The role is full time, offering 37.5 hours per week over five days.
