Essential Qualifications:
- Active, valid certifications as a School Psychologist (P-12 required)
- Prior experience working in a school or educational setting strongly preferred
- Ability to provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, counseling, and intervention services
- Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents
- Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and effective documentation procedures
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable adapting to varying caseloads in dynamic environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and interpret results to identify student needs and strengths
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide individual or group counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Serve as a resource for staff and families about student development, behavior, and learning challenges
- Facilitate positive behavioral support strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to promote student success
- Uphold confidentiality and ethics in all practices and interactions
