In this role, youll take the lead in conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and helping shape individualized education and intervention plans. Youll serve as a trusted resource for students, teachers, and families, using your insight and assessment skills to ensure every child receives the support they need to succeed.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- Active certification as a school psychologist
- Experience working with diverse student populations in school settings
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with current best practices in school psychology
- Flexibility and adaptability as caseload size will be determined upon placement
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting student evaluations (including cognitive, behavioral, and academic assessments)
- Interpreting results and presenting findings to educational teams and families
- Developing and recommending strategies for student support and intervention
- Consulting with faculty and staff to implement effective strategies
- Participating in meetings and collaborating with other school professionals
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
