Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a contract School Psychologist supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade. In this full-time opportunity (33.75 hours per week), youll play a crucial role in helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally through targeted assessments and collaboration.

In this position, your focus will be on conducting evaluations, participating in IEP meetings, and coordinating intervention plans across potentially four different schools in the area. While the core duties are assessments and consultation, candidates experienced in counseling will be highly valued.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with students from Pre-K to 12th grade
  • Strong background in evaluations, report writing, and IEP team participation
  • Comfortable coordinating intervention strategies and collaborating with educators and families
  • Ability to travel between multiple school sites as part of the weekly schedule
  • Previous experience in counseling students is a plus, though not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological and educational evaluations to determine student needs
  • Prepare thorough reports and present findings in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to develop effective intervention plans
  • Provide data and recommendations to support student learning and behavioral health
  • If qualified, deliver counseling services to students as part of a comprehensive support plan
