Embark on a rewarding year-round assignment supporting students' academic and emotional growth in a close-knit school community. This contract opportunity is designed for a dedicated, full-time School Psychologist ready to make a meaningful impact throughout the entire 2026/2027 school year. With an August 1st start, youll work across the academic calendar in a comprehensive, 12-month role collaborating with educators, administrators, and families.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (state and national licensure, as applicable)
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Prior school-based experience is strongly preferred
- Expertise in conducting psychoeducational assessments, behavior intervention planning, and counseling
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- In-depth knowledge of special education processes, including IEP development
- Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
Primary responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify students cognitive, academic, and social-emotional needs
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and administrators on effective instructional and behavioral interventions
- Facilitate and participate in IEP and other multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student well-being
- Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies as necessary
- Assist with the development and rollout of school-wide programs promoting mental and emotional health
- Maintain thorough records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines
