Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Active certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for state credentialing)
- Demonstrated experience supporting K-12 students in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of special education law, assessment tools, and best practices in school psychology
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment data
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents from varied backgrounds
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in IEP meetings for students across kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs, both academically and behaviorally
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, counselors, and families to support student growth
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and short-term support for students as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed records in compliance with all relevant policies and regulations
- Participate actively in multi-disciplinary teams, supporting data-driven decisions
- Engage with professional development opportunities and stay current with advances in school psychology
