Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school psychologist supporting K-12 students in a dynamic, onsite educational setting. Providing essential evaluation, re-evaluation, and assessment services, youll play an instrumental role in guiding student development throughout the academic year, from August 18, 2026, to May 26, 2027. This full-time position (37.5 hours/week) offers the chance to work with a varied caseload across multiple sites, where every day brings fresh opportunities to make a positive impact.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Texas School Psychologist license required
- Previous experience with K-12 student populations highly valued
- Strong knowledge of assessments, evaluations, and special education processes
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not necessary
- Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and re-evaluations
- Provide consultation and recommendations to educators and families
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and support for students academic and emotional needs
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings as needed
- Manage documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Travel to various schools during the week as an itinerant psychologist
