This full-time contract opportunity extends throughout the 2026-2027 academic year (approximately August 25th to June 15th) in a school community near Wilmington, DE. What youll need:
Active Delaware School Psychologist certification
Previous experience in K-12 settings, especially conducting evaluations and writing comprehensive reports
In-depth understanding of IEP processes, with experience attending and contributing to 60-day IEP meetings
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, supporting collaboration with students, staff, and families
Passion for counseling and supporting adolescent mental health needs
Primary responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling to students across grades 8-12
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and develop detailed assessment reports
Participate in the review and implementation of 60-day IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Offer consultative support to teachers and families, addressing students behavioral, academic, and emotional needs
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
Engage in problem-solving interventions and data-driven decision-making for students educational progress
