Job Description
Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity as a dedicated School Psychologist, supporting the academic and social development of students across multiple elementary and middle school campuses. In this pivotal role, youll collaborate with a diverse team to deliver comprehensive psychological assessments, interventions, and consultative services. The assignment is based in the North Richland Hills area, with a focus on on-site engagement for maximum impact throughout the school year.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential from the Board of Examiners of Psychologists
- School-based experience or previous work within educational settings strongly preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly desirable
- Fingerprint clearance through the Texas Education Agency (TEA) required; allow up to 10 business days for processing
- Expertise in providing assessments and services related to Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairments (OHI), including ADHD evaluations, Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a vital resource for five campuses, primarily elementary, with some middle school responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior strategies
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Provide direct interventions and recommendations based on evaluation outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to state and district standards
This contract offers a structured 35-hour workweek from August 10, 2026, to May 21, 2027. Youll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and contribute to positive student outcomes while working within a supportive school environment.
