Exciting full-time contract opportunity for a School Psychologist in the Odessa, TX area! This onsite role offers the chance to work directly within school settings, providing essential psychological services for a diverse K-12 population during the 2026-2027 academic year.
In this position, you'll work itinerantly, managing a caseload that focuses primarily on evaluations, re-evaluations, and assessments. Bilingual skills are valuable but not required, reflecting the varied student community youll support. What were looking for:
- Current Texas School Psychologist license required
- Experience with school-based or pediatric psychological services preferred
- Ability to manage multiple sites and varied caseloads (K-12)
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations, re-evaluations, and comprehensive assessments
- Commitment to ethical practice and student confidentiality
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, though not mandatory
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations, re-evaluations, and academic assessments
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student needs
- Develop intervention and support plans based on assessment results
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Travel between school sites within the district as required
