In this role, youll collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to address students academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs, ensuring they receive the guidance and interventions necessary for success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Current and valid certification/license as a School Psychologist in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in school settings conducting psychological and educational assessments
- Strong knowledge of special education processes, IEP development, and crisis intervention protocols
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational evaluations for students
- Participate as an integral member of multidisciplinary teams for IEP meetings and eligibility determinations
- Develop and recommend strategies for academic and behavioral interventions
- Collaborate with staff and parents to support student success and well-being
- Provide crisis intervention services and consultation to staff as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
