Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- State licensure or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with special education assessments and re-evaluations
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Bilingual fluency is highly desirable for dedicated positions serving multilingual populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Develop and interpret assessment results, participate in IEP meetings, and offer recommendations for interventions and supports
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student well-being and academic success
- Serve as a resource for crisis intervention, behavioral strategies, and socio-emotional development
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all special education regulations
