This full-time opportunity near Sebago, ME, offers 33.75 hours per week serving students in Pre-K through 12th grade, with the chance to work across up to four schools.
As an integral member of the educational team, your primary focus will be on conducting evaluations, attending IEP meetings, and coordinating intervention plans for a diverse student population. Applicants with counseling experience are encouraged to share this expertise, as counseling responsibilities may be incorporated based on qualifications.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Proven experience conducting psychological and academic assessments
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and intervention strategies
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Flexibility to work with students across Pre-K through 12th grade
- Exceptional communication, organization, and reporting skills
- Counseling background is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments per student needs
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized intervention plans
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Travel to multiple school sites as needed (up to four schools)
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow ethical guidelines
- If qualified, provide direct counseling services to students
