Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological assessments in a school setting
- Strong understanding of RTI, IEPs, and multi-tiered systems of support
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete psychoeducational evaluations and interpret test results for students referred for academic or behavioral concerns
- Participate as a crucial member of multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students learning and mental health
- Provide short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation
- Assist in designing academic and behavioral interventions for individuals and groups
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
