Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments in a school setting
  • Strong understanding of RTI, IEPs, and multi-tiered systems of support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete psychoeducational evaluations and interpret test results for students referred for academic or behavioral concerns
  • Participate as a crucial member of multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students learning and mental health
  • Provide short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation
  • Assist in designing academic and behavioral interventions for individuals and groups
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
