Job Description

Remote School-Based Psychologist Wyoming

Qualifications
Active Wyoming School Psychologist license/certification (or ability to obtain)
Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) preferred but not required
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience (school-based and/or teletherapy experience preferred)
Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and developing IEPs
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
Comfortable utilizing teletherapy platforms and virtual technology

Key Responsibilities

Assessment & Evaluation
1. Conduct comprehensive virtual psychoeducational evaluations for students
2. Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
3. Develop evaluation reports and provide recommendations to support student success

Counseling & Student Support
1. Provide virtual individual and/or group counseling services as needed
2. Support students with behavioral, emotional, social, and academic concerns
3. Develop intervention strategies to promote positive student outcomes
4. Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral support planning when appropriate

Collaboration & Communication
1. Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
2. Participate in virtual IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings
3. Consult with school staff regarding behavioral interventions, accommodations, and student progress
4. Provide resources and recommendations to families and educators

Documentation & Compliance
1. Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, counseling sessions, consultation notes, and student progress
2. Complete evaluation reports and required documentation within district timelines
3. Ensure compliance with Wyoming, IDEA, Section 504, and district special education requirements

Technology & Telepractice
1. Deliver high-quality school psychology services using secure virtual platforms
2. Adapt assessments and interventions for effective remote service delivery
3. Troubleshoot basic technology concerns and support families with virtual access when needed
