Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification and state licensure (required)
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of MTSS/RTI, assessment tools, and counseling strategies
- Exceptional communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to cultural competence and inclusive practices
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments for eligibility and ongoing support
- Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and counseling for students and staff
- Develop and implement individualized education and behavior plans
- Lead and participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to promote positive learning environments
- Contribute to professional development and school-wide initiatives supporting mental wellness
