Job Description
We are actively hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) to provide on-site therapy services for students near Greensboro, North Carolina for the 20262027 school year. This role focuses on supporting students mobility, physical development, and access to the educational environment through individualized therapy services.
This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed school-based Physical Therapist with experience in pediatric and special education settings.
Position Details
- Start Date: August 17, 2026
- End Date: June 4, 2027
- Schedule: Full-time, MondayFriday
- Setting: School-based (On-site only)
- Location: Near Greensboro, NC
Caseload & Programs
- School-based caseload serving students with physical and mobility needs
- Students may receive services under IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including special education staff, occupational therapists, and speech therapists
- Systems used: ECATS and Infinite Campus
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site physical therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Evaluate student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Support students in improving mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Document services and progress using ECATS and Infinite Campus systems
- Ensure compliance with IDEA and North Carolina Department of Education guidelines
- Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina Physical Therapy License required (verification required)
- Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Ability to provide on-site services only (no remote)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for team-based environments
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $42 $58 per hour
- Pay is negotiable
- Weekly pay via direct deposit
