Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Alabama SLP License
  • Certification as CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
  • Experience in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of speech-language pathology best practices
  • Commitment to serving K-12 populations with diverse speech and language needs
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention for students with speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain timely documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Travel between three close-proximity school sites, ensuring continuity of care for all assigned students
  • Provide consultation and resources to teachers and caregivers to support student communication in the classroom
  • Attend required team meetings and trainings to remain current on best practices and compliance standards
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes each childs success
