Make a meaningful difference in students lives by providing bilingual speech-language therapy in a school-based contract role near Austin, TX. This opportunity allows you to work with a diverse caseload of pre-kindergarten through 8th grade students, utilizing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to support communication growth and educational progress for students in need. The contract runs from July 27th, 2026 to May 28th, 2027, offering consistency and the chance to develop lasting relationships and positive outcomes throughout the academic year.
Youll enjoy a steady schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, collaborating with a supportive team and engaging with families in both English and Spanish.
Desired Background and Credentials:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Texas
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish required
- Experience or strong interest in serving PreK8th grade students
- Competency in school-based ARDs, bilingual speech therapy interventions, and conducting comprehensive evaluations
- Open to SLPs holding CCC, as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY) with pediatric experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based group and individual speech therapy services to a caseload of approximately 3050 students
- Conduct bilingual (Spanish/English) assessments and craft individualized treatment plans
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
- Maintain thorough progress notes and collaborate closely with fellow educators and families
- Guide and mentor students in developing effective communication and language skills
