Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current state licensure appropriate for providing school-based SLP services
- Prior experience supporting children in educational settings (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to ethical, culturally competent, and evidence-based practice
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently onsite
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with educational staff and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Provide consultative support and resources to staff as needed
