Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: West-Northwest Washington
Setting: Multiple School Locations
Assignment Dates: 20262027 School Year (dates vary based on assigned school)
Position Details
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across multiple school sites in West-Northwest Washington during the 20262027 school year. The SLP will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and supporting students with communication disorders while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students succeed.
Caseload information is currently being finalized, including student ages and caseload size.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate students for speech and language disorders
- Participate in the identification, eligibility, and placement process for students receiving special education services
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate for Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Restraint Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to obtain, or equivalent qualifying experience
- Experience working in special education programs preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
