Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting (K-12th grade) is highly valued
- Comprehensive understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy for students with a variety of speech and language disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight and documentation
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to enhance student outcomes
- Maintain thorough records of evaluations, progress notes, and other required documentation
- Adapt therapy strategies to meet the diverse needs of students across grade levels
