Step into an exciting opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with elementary students in the 5th and 6th grades for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers a full-time schedule, ranging from 37.5 to 40 hours per week. Qualifications and Preferred Background:
- Hold a valid in-state SLP license
- Possess a Masters Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Completed or pursuing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is welcome
- Experience in pediatric, healthcare, and teletherapy settings beneficial
- Previous work within school systems is preferred but not required
- Passion for working with children and collaborating in school-based teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students, focusing on 5th and 6th grade
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and complete evaluations as required
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress
- Use teletherapy tools and methods as needed to deliver high-quality services
- Attend meetings and professional development sessions to remain current in best practices
