This full-time, on-site role runs the 2026/2027 academic year and is designed for both SLPs with CCC and those in their CFY. Engage daily with an energetic student population, providing essential speech and language services that support their academic and personal growth.
Key Experience & Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Illinois SLP Licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcomed
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage an onsite K-8th grade caseload, adapting interventions as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver a full range of speech and language services, including assessments, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to support students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication needs
- Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute insights for specialized educational strategies
