This maternity leave assignment starts October 19, 2026, and continues through January 11, 2027, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference with an elementary caseload of 28-30 second through fifth graders. Work a consistent weekday schedule8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., with a daily 30-minute unpaid lunch, for a weekly total of 33.75 hours.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) license
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Pediatric and elementary (2nd-5th grade) caseload experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage a moderate-sized caseload
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct SLP services and conduct evaluations for elementary students
- Develop and implement IEPs for students with a range of speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state requirements
