Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early childhood learners as an evaluator within a dedicated school-based team near Cibolo, TX. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll play an essential role assessing and advancing students' communication skills, while also offering guidance and supervision to an SLPA with a small bilingual caseload focused on young children.
Your fluency in both English and Spanish is vital and central to the position, as it allows you to connect effectively with a diverse student body and their families. The assignment will span from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, for a total of 37.5 hours each week, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology License required
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials welcomed
- Experience in school-based and pediatric settings highly valued
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a must
- Background in supervising support staff or assistants is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for early childhood caseload
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to inform IEPs and service planning
- Provide supervision and support to an SLPA serving a bilingual group of students
- Maintain detailed, timely evaluation records and progress documentation
- Communicate findings and recommendations to families and colleagues
