Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or actively working toward Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Familiarity with school-based therapy settings and IEP processes
- Compassionate communicator who adapts approaches for diverse student needs
- Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and support staff
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services in group and one-on-one settings
- Track progress, maintain documentation, and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support educational goals
- Participate in meetings with multidisciplinary teams and families
