Key Qualifications & Experience

  • Active Texas SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Experience in pediatric and school-based SLP services
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is essential
  • Prior experience working with early childhood age groups strongly preferred
  • Ability to supervise and mentor SLPAs

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations for early childhood students to determine speech and language eligibility and service needs
  • Oversee and guide an SLPA working with a bilingual caseload
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement IEPs
  • Participate in family meetings and serve as a resource for caregivers
  • Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines
  • Contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environment
