Key Qualifications & Experience
- Active Texas SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience in pediatric and school-based SLP services
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is essential
- Prior experience working with early childhood age groups strongly preferred
- Ability to supervise and mentor SLPAs
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations for early childhood students to determine speech and language eligibility and service needs
- Oversee and guide an SLPA working with a bilingual caseload
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement IEPs
- Participate in family meetings and serve as a resource for caregivers
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines
- Contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environment
