Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-5 students in a dynamic educational setting near Dearborn Heights, MI. This position offers the chance to provide speech-language services to a manageable caseload of 40-45 students, with a start date of August 20, 2026, and an end date of June 11, 2027. Youll enjoy working closely with an experienced and collegial team of Speech-Language Pathologistsoffering robust collaboration, guidance, and ongoing support as you make a meaningful impact.
What youll bring:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid Michigan SLP licensure
- Previous school-based experience is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with young learners
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other SLPs to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing student goals
- Maintain appropriate documentation for student records and compliance
- Deliver direct and consultative services for a K-5 caseload
This full-time contract offers 35 hours each week, Monday through Friday. Compensation ranges from $55-70 per hour, based on experience and fit.
