Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged children as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Active Michigan SLP license
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students in grades K-5
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support students academic and social development
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational goal development
- Consult with fellow SLPs for guidance and insights, leveraging a supportive professional network
This full-time role begins August 20, 2026, and concludes June 11, 2027, with a 35-hour workweek across five days. Compensation ranges from $55 to $70 per hour, based on experience and fit.
