Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged children as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • Active Michigan SLP license
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students in grades K-5
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support students academic and social development
  • Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational goal development
  • Consult with fellow SLPs for guidance and insights, leveraging a supportive professional network

This full-time role begins August 20, 2026, and concludes June 11, 2027, with a 35-hour workweek across five days. Compensation ranges from $55 to $70 per hour, based on experience and fit.
