Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-5 students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. Youll provide services for a manageable caseload of 40-45 elementary students, creating a positive impact in a school environment that values skill-sharing and professional growth. This role offers a set schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, running from August 20, 2026, through June 11, 2027.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a closely related field
- Current Michigan SLP license (or eligibility)
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
What Youll Do:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students in grades K-5
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, as well as other SLPs
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a dynamic professional community
