We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students in two educational settings near Eastlake, OH, for the upcoming school year. This role provides the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students and collaborate within supportive school environments.
Assignment Snapshot:
- Two separate sites:
- A specialized high school serving students with emotional disturbance (grades 8-12)
- A STEM-focused school (grades 6-12)
- Locations: Chagrin Falls, OH, and Concord Township, OH
- Schedule: Services can be provided in one 7-hour day at each site, approximately 15 hours per week
- Duration: August 24th through May 31st
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license in Ohio
- CCC-SLP or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in pediatric, school, and/or healthcare settings is a plus
- Strong skills in assessment, therapy, and collaboration
- Adaptability and compassion to work with students who have emotional and behavioral challenges
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services to middle and high school students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain clear and timely documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and school-wide initiatives
