Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. From July 27, 2026, to May 31, 2027, bring your expertise to a vibrant educational environment working with approximately 50 students from kindergarten through 5th grade. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule of 2-3 days per week, ideal for professionals seeking a balanced workload.

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Masters degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field.
  • Valid South Carolina SLP License.
  • Current SC Educator Certification.
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials welcome.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in an educational setting, is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
  • Strong commitment to fostering positive outcomes for young learners.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide speech-language therapy to elementary students.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each students success and progress.
  • Contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed.
