School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Fillmore, CA

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school team in Fillmore for the 20262027 school year. This role focuses on helping students develop critical communication skills that support academic success and social-emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluations for students with suspected communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and data-driven decision-making

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active California SLP license or eligibility to obtain
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs encouraged to apply)
  • Experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
