Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students success within a collaborative and dynamic school setting near Florissant, MO. This role spans multiple schools within the Hazelwood, Jennings, and Ferguson Florissant areas, with minimal travel required. Youll work with a diverse student population, primarily focusing on caseload minutes rather than headcount, providing tailored services to those who need it most. Assignments may include all age groups, with some campuses emphasizing elementary students.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current professional license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (Clinical Fellowship or CCC accepted)
- Prior experience in school settings preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and delivering speech therapy services based on minutes
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to quickly obtain required credentials, including fingerprinting and drug screening
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services within district schools
- Manage a caseload based on minutes (approximately 3200-3400)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support individual student goals
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings, assessments, and progress monitoring
- Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with all school and state guidelines
