If youre a Speech-Language Pathologist eager to support early learners, this contract opportunity could be a great fit for you. Work closely with preschool-aged children to develop their communication and language abilities in a supportive school-based setting near Indianapolis, IN. This is a full-time assignment with a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM, and will have a caseload averaging around 60 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience with preschool or early childhood populations preferred
- Familiarity with school-based service delivery and IEP processes
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to preschool students
- Conduct evaluations and assess communication skills
- Develop, implement, and document individualized therapy plans
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers
- Maintain accurate records and ongoing progress notes
- Use both individual and group therapy formats as appropriate
