We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an onsite-only school-based role in Indianapolis, Indiana for the 20262027 school year. This position is primarily evaluation-focused and offers strong collaboration with an established SLP team supporting specialized student needs.
Position Details
Hours: 37.5 per week
Dates: August 3, 2026 June 1, 2027
Onsite Only
Caseload: Approximately 5070 students
Primary Focus: Speech-language evaluations and assessment services
Collaboration with another SLP supporting nonverbal life skills students
School-based, multidisciplinary team environment
Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments
Support eligibility determination and IEP development processes
Collaborate closely with another SLP serving nonverbal life skills students
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Maintain accurate evaluation reports, documentation, and compliance requirements
Provide consultation and support to school staff as needed
Ensure services align with district and state special education guidelines
Qualifications / Requirements
Active Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
School-based experience preferred
Strong background in evaluations and assessment practices
Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
