Step into a dynamic contract opportunity working with preschool-aged children at a dedicated Child Development Center. This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role offers the chance to collaborate with a passionate team and make a real impact on early childhood communication and development. Part-time candidates with the right background will also be considered.
Ideal candidates bring strong clinical knowledge, the ability to engage young learners, and the desire to work collaboratively with colleagues. Serving 3- to 4-year-olds, you'll play a vital role in helping children build foundational speech and language skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- South Carolina SLP license and active Educator Certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience providing SLP services in a school or early childhood/preschool setting highly valued
- Passion for working with young children and their families
- Team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment and intervention services to preschool students, focusing on speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and a team including two fellow SLPs
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings to support student growth
