Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligible for (or hold) a NCBOESLPA license
- Knowledge of childhood speech and hearing development
- Understanding of communication disorders and related interventions
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations regarding school-based services
- Ability to collaborate with school staff, community partners, and families
- Strong record-keeping skills and ability to maintain positive professional relationships
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and hearing programs to Pre-K and elementary students
- Conduct screenings and assessments; analyze and interpret diagnostic information
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions for individuals and groups
- Consult with parents, teachers, and school teams; adapt strategies to student progress
- Maintain accurate program records and prepare required reports
- Support the safe and productive learning environment within multiple school locations
