This maternity leave coverage is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SLP to work with an Autism program at the elementary level, contributing expertise to an onsite team and helping students excel in their communication goals.

Step into a full-time, contract role with a steady weekday schedule: 9am to 4:40pm, Monday through Friday, from August 17, 2026 through September 4, 2026. Collaborate alongside passionate educators, and provide targeted interventions and support within a specialized Autism program at Warren Hills Elementary.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Previous schools-based SLP experience, with a strong understanding of school-aged childrens needs
  • Competency in supporting students on the Autism spectrum
  • Ability to work onsite and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy and intervention to students within the Autism program
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Consult with educators, families, and support staff to foster student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation in adherence to school and district guidelines
  • Provide strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learners
