Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP-CCC certification required
- Experience working in schools preferred; new graduates with a passion for school-based practice are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
- Ability to work with K-12 students from diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored speech and language therapy for students, addressing a range of communication needs
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for eligibility and ongoing progress
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with district and state guidelines
- Offer guidance and support to teachers and families on effective communication strategies
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive educational atmosphere
