Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP-CCC certification required
  • Experience working in schools preferred; new graduates with a passion for school-based practice are encouraged to apply
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
  • Ability to work with K-12 students from diverse backgrounds
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored speech and language therapy for students, addressing a range of communication needs
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for eligibility and ongoing progress
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with district and state guidelines
  • Offer guidance and support to teachers and families on effective communication strategies
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive educational atmosphere
