Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP in Wisconsin
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFY) are also encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and educational settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to identify student needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and implement therapy sessions for students with various speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create a comprehensive approach to student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and documentation
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed for optimal student support
- Provide in-class support and consultative services to ensure inclusive educational access
- Maintain compliance with school and state guidelines for service delivery and reporting
