Job Description

Step into a rewarding role providing speech-language services to TK-8th grade students on a full-time contract. This opportunity focuses on supporting a diverse caseload of up to 60 students, fostering communication growth and academic success from August 3rd through May 28th.

You will collaborate with educational teams to help each child reach their fullest potential. Your expertise will shape communication abilities and positively impact the school community.

What Were Looking For:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid California licensure as an SLP
  • Previous experience within school settings, preferably serving elementary and middle grades
  • Strong skills in assessment, therapy planning, and implementing evidence-based interventions
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities
  • Dedication to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of up to 60 students across grades TK-8
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and other school staff
  • Participate in IEP meetings, maintaining complete and timely documentation
  • Deliver direct therapy and provide consultative support for students diverse needs
  • Utilize data to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed

The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, providing structure and work-life balance. Enjoy the fulfillment of guiding students communication skills from the first day of school into summer break.
