Step confidently into a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity serving TK-8th grade students. This full-time, contract position runs from August 3rd through May 28th, with a manageable caseload of up to 60 students. Work within a supportive educational environment that values expertise, collaboration, and student-centered care.
Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, ensuring a predictable workweek and work-life balance. The role is ideal for SLPs holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who are passionate about making a meaningful impact on students communication, academic, and social success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLP license and CCC required
- Experience providing speech and language services in school settings, preferably TK-8
- Strong communication and collaboration skills working with students, families, and educational teams
- Flexibility to manage diverse needs and modify approaches as needed
- Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and compliance
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and interpret evaluation results for speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to students across TK-8th grades
- Maintain accurate and timely progress notes and documentation
- Collaborate with classroom staff, families, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
