Job Description
Step into a vital role supporting early childhood learners as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist during the 20262027 school year. This contract opportunity is based full-time near McKinney, TX, with a focus on fostering communication development within a dynamic school setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based environment highly valued
- Experience working with early childhood populations desired
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to early childhood students
- Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with educational teams
- Partner with special education staff, teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate, thorough records and reports as required
