Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students across several educational settings for the 2026-2027 school year. This role spans August 2026 through June 2027, supporting a diverse caseload including general education, emotional/behavioral support classrooms, autism programs, and transition services. You will play a key role in helping students maximize their communication potential and participate fully in school life.

Essential Experience & Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • State licensure (or eligibility) for practice in Illinois
  • School-based experience strongly preferred
  • Versatility to manage a varied caseload and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Expertise in evaluation, treatment planning, IEP development, and data-driven progress monitoring

What Youll Do:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students at multiple sites, including general education, emotional/behavioral, autism, and transition programs
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and track progress toward goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, communicating effectively with families and educators
  • Serve as a resource and support to fellow staff regarding best practices for communication challenges
  • Adapt services to meet the unique needs of each student and setting
  • Stay current with emerging interventions and compliance standards
  • Maintain diligent documentation and contribute to a positive, collaborative school environment
