Ideal candidates will bring the following:
- Valid SLP licensure for California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings
- Strong evaluation, therapy, and documentation abilities
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists
- Comfort navigating IEPs and participating in multidisciplinary meetings
- Compassion, flexibility, and dedication to student growth
Key responsibilities youll fulfill:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students with varying communication needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families
- Deliver evidence-based direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and update goals as necessary
- Consult with educators to implement classroom strategies and support inclusive practices
- Offer guidance, resources, and training to staff and families as needed
