Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early childhood learners. This position is ideal for a bilingual Spanish-speaking SLP eager to bring their expertise to an engaging educational setting. Starting August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, youll work full-time (37.5 hours across 5 days weekly) as an evaluator for the Early Childhood team while supervising a dedicated SLPA managing a small bilingual caseload.
Your primary focus will be assessment, collaboration, and supervision, making a tangible impact on the youngest learners communication skills. This role offers a unique chance to utilize advanced clinical skills and provide mentorship, all while maintaining a manageable caseload size.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology License required.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is essential.
- Experience or strong interest in early childhood and pediatric speech-language pathology.
- Credentials/eligibility for SLP-CCC or CFY and prior school-based experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for early childhood students.
- Supervise, mentor, and support the assigned SLPA, ensuring quality service delivery for a small bilingual caseload.
- Collaborate with educational teams, families, and related service providers.
- Document progress, develop individualized intervention plans, and participate in IEP processes.
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment for students and colleagues alike.
